BIOGRAPHY
Jacob Lincke is a composer and sound designer based in Gothenburg, Sweden. He explores and combines genres in unexpected yet contemporary ways with both digital and live recorded instruments. His scores aim to embrace the beauty of every emotion, bridging the gap between visual art and audio.
Jacob’s recent work include Flynn: Son of Crimson, released in 2021. Featuring a melodic, symphonic and light hearted soundtrack in the veins of The Legend of Zelda.
Whispers of a Machine (2019), a nordic noir adventure game heavily inspired by Scandinavian folk music but with a futuristic twist. Jacob also executed the sound effects and voice over edits which garnered multiple awards: Aggie Award for Best Sound Effects and runner up for Best Music.
His score for Super Cloudbuilt (2017) explores a more up-tempo and intense expression with blistering drums, synths and an epic orchestra.

Fun extra fact. Jacob sang in the Swedish choir on Mick Gordon’s track “Warlord” from Killer Instinct (2014).
